Summer is here and it’s finally time to take a quality break with friends and family, so we have outlined the top 5 reasons to come glamping at our luxury safari lodges here in the East Midlands. Birdholme Glamping is set in a beautiful part of the UK and is surrounded by nature, wonderful pubs, lakes and forests. It’s in a great position to offer a real break, lots to do, and time away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
Holidaying in the UK also means that your pets can come too! Six of our seven lodges are dog friendly, because a family holiday really wouldn’t be the same without them.

The position of our seven lodges means that you have plenty of privacy, and takes away the stress of having close neighbours on your holiday. The site is set on 15 acres of land in a truly idyllic setting, and all our lodges have their own facilities, including their own hot tub. New for 2025 – our 2 new lodges, Otter and Kestrel, have private saunas too!

We can all agree that the best part of camping, definitely isn’t the bit where you pitch the tent! If you even remember the poles, it can be a laborious task that takes up valuable relaxation time.
At Birdholme Glamping, all our luxury Safari Lodges are ready for your arrival, so you can settle right in for a fully equipped self catering break, whatever the weather. Our lodges all include a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, so you just need to bring your food, toiletries and clothes to enjoy this amazing break.

Although our Glamping site is remote and peaceful, there is still so much to do.
We’re extremely lucky to have water sports facilities so close by, woodlands for making dens, flat areas for ball games and beautiful walks right on our doorstep – but what about getting out and about?
